STAR BRIGHT MOORE
1945 - 1966
Star Bright was bought by Guy Ray Rutland to cross on his Gold King Bailey mares in order to keep that "old foundation blood" of Oklahoma Star andBert in his mares. This cross proved to be more that satisfactory. Star Bright Moore was one of those "Old Time" quarter horses that could really do something. He was bred and raised by Austin Moore. He was used for roping, cutting and ranch work during the week and then taken to shows on weekends where he would do the same, even winning a halter class or two along the way.
Star Bright Moore is the sire of Adams Moore AQHA Champion-1968 Honor Roll Barrel Horse-1970 High Point Barrel Racing Stallion; Adams Rocket-Honor Roll Ple Bending Champion 1964,'65 and '66 and High Point Barrel Racing
Gelding in 1965. He sired several other arena ROMS.
Start Bright Moore is also the maternal grandsire of many Race ROM Qualifiers, Show ROM's, and 3 AQHA Champions.
His foals were truly used for every competition a horse could be used for while being a favorite of the cowboys on the ranch.
