Calypso Driver was absolutely the fastest two year old we had in 2009, and we had a couple to run over 100 speed index! But in her first race, the time trials for the Kansas Bred Futurity, she broke on top by a length the first 50 yards and was starting to widen under a hand ride when she stepped in a hole in the track, chipping a knee. We tried to run her a couple more times but she hurt enough that she couldn't put out the effort. I had a lot of high hopes for her that year. But she will still be able to raise some good ones for us.
