OK, boys and girls ... pay attention to this colt ... if he hasn't already got your attention! This could potentially be a stud prospect you're looking for! Of course, when Cliff went with Dad to look at Bar Money as a yearling in 1961 just after JT Walters had paid $25,000 for him and Dad asked Cliff what he thought of him, Cliff replied "Well, he ought to make a pretty good gelding". Moral of this story is it takes a pretty darn good stud to make a good gelding. Bar Money went on to make his AQHA Supreme Championship, run AAA on the racetrack and has been a cornerstone of our breeding program ever since. This good looking colt has the credentials all the Rutland Ranch breeding program all the way back to his 6th dam who was an AQHA Champion (by Gold King Bailey)!!!

Study your lesson good here. This colt's maternal grandsire is Jushart, an own son of Mr Jess Perry, one of the most prolific sires of today. Jushart's dam was a daughter of Phone Trick (TB) that qualified for the All American Futurity.

On this colt's very bottom side he goes back to Gold King Bailey, Oklahoma Star and Bert. For those of you that don' bother to trace bloodlines back this far ... you had better start! Too many of these old solid foundation bloodlines have been overlooked and forgotten what they bring to the modern day horse. Conformation and soundness to begin with. We've been breeding horse for over 75 years now and will always keep these solid traits in mind.

Now let's go back and take another look at this colt's maternal grandsire ... Jushart. He is by a son of Mr Jess Perry and out of a daughter of Phone Trick, a sprinting TB sire. Now take a look at the winner of the 2015 All American Futurity ... Jess Good Candy. He is by a son of Phone Trick out of a daughter of Mr Jess Perry that goes back to First Down Dash on the bottom side. The bloodlines are flipped. Does this begin to show you a trend that this colt could be a top notch sire?

Dam Prissys Hart was sent straight to the broodmare band to keep this bloodline going.

2nd Dam, Prissy First Pac si 83 (by a son of First Down Dash) got a bad cut on a hind leg and didn't get the opportunity to show her true potential on the track but still winner twice, a second and a third.

3rd Dam Prissy Hope si 93 was a solid race mare. She is a half sister to Pacs Dealer si 99 Stakes Placed Winner of 3 races, 7 seconds and 2 times third and went on to make a top barrel horse. He was super good looking, heavy muscled gelding that everyone take a double take when he walked in. Prissy Hope is a full sister to Hakunta Matata, the dam of Worry No More si 98 winner of 3 races, 5 times second and 2 thirds earning almost $30,000.

4th Dam - Pacs Prissy Girl si 83 (by Pacific Bailey) was a very well muscled mare and a solid producer.
She was also the dam of Pacs Dealer si 99 and Lindseys Hope si 96.

This female family has produced many solid race and barrel performers as well as producing AQHA
Champions.
